How this affects extension users
- The extension keeps working. It will continue to receive security and detection-quality fixes through and after the desktop launch.
- New flagship features (clipboard, screenshots, native AI clients) will land in Desktop first. Some of them will never come to the extension because browsers don’t allow it.
- Your Sonomos account, subscription, and Teams policies will work across both products.
Help shape what ships
The extension exists so we can learn what real workflows look like before we lock in desktop scope. The fastest way to influence the roadmap is to:
- Use the prototype in your actual day-to-day work.
- Send specific feedback (popup → Send Feedback), especially about apps and platforms you wish Sonomos covered.
- Email info@sonomos.ai if you want to join the beta or set up a discovery call.
